Ledum A. Mitee, Esq. is the managing solicitor and founding partner of the law firm, L. A. Mitee & Company which started in 1991 at No. 20 Station Road, Port Harcourt before moving to its present purpose-built office situate at No. 23 Ndele Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981 and is amongst the foremost environmentalist in Nigeria having being involved in the Niger Delta, Ogoni and other environmental crusades against the authorities to safeguard the health and environment of the people for over 30 years. He is also an election petition and Human and Environmental rights enforcement law specialist, amongst other areas of general litigations like commercial/labour law, property, constitutional, criminal, family and real estate law. He is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and recipient of many international as well as national awards and honours including Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
